So one of my favorite people, Miss Sunny Holiday contacted me about doing a FUN session that was full Pinup themed! If you haven’t had a chance you should check out her boudoir session we did over the summer. Although Pinup and boudoir images both have a sassy and sexy side, I love pinups for the light, flirty nature, bright colors and great clothing, so naturally I was in. Sunny also wanted to bring along her friend Deanna so she could get a little taste of what shooting with me would be like.
We had such a great variety of images I put together a 2014 Calendar for the Girls! Here is how it turned out! (Click on the images to view larger)
With creative design and a bit of photoshop magic – you can see how you can take an awesome image to the next level!! I love projects like this! Here are some additional images from our shoot! BTW this was the first shot of Deanna and she is STUNNING!
We started with this fantastic antique background that really pulled out the vintage feel! For these images we wanted to be a bit more sultry and Sunny nailed it! I just love the close up where you can see her Sunny Holiday Tattoo – Designed by yours truly!
This Royal Purple is delicious and I love the bit with the fur rug! Pinup Prop Shopping is my new favorite pastime! – You should see my list!
THROW BACK ALERT!!! Now this image was one that I took of Sunny about six years ago when we first started working together… We decided to pull some inspiration and rework it a bit…
and I am thrilled with them! I love that teal with her pink corset (a.k.a. looks hot but hardest thing to put on)
One of the things that I love most about Pinup Photography is the creativity! For this image, we set up a pillow fight and I love the way they turned out! Big thanks to Alice and Cj for assisting with the feathers!
Who doesn’t love a sexy sailor girl who snapped her garter? OOPS!
Some more classic Pin up poses!
And some gardening action with the gorgeous Deanna!
Now this prop is something close to my heart! I spent most of my night before the shoot constructing this giant sun for Sunny! I love that she decided to skip the wardrobe and just wear this!
As we had a sun, it was only natural to create a moon!
We have to have the Cast and Crew sporting their pinup face! Thank you all for your assistance in making this another great shoot!
