Kristen & Ryan are Expecting | Troy Maternity Session

I am so excited to welcome Kristen and Ryan back to the YTK Blog! EXACTLY one year ago today we posted Kristen and Ryan’s First YTK Photography Shoot with their Fur Babies. It was such a beautiful session and our post today is even more exciting than last year’s because Kristen and Ryan are Expecting! For this Troy maternity session, Kristen wanted to do something styled and asked YTK to select the wardrobe! With the great talent of makeup artist and beauty expert Erin Marzilli we had everything we needed for a stellar shoot! In addition to the adorable bump shots, Kristen wanted to do something a bit more creative so make sure you go to the end of the blog for those magical images. I love love love working with these two and can’t wait to meet Mr. Baby when he arrives in a few weeks!

Kristen and Ryan look so good together! Just the sweetest!

Loving the color in this shot with those beautiful blue skies!

These two (and a bump) are the sweetest little family!

I love this image!

And now for our little edgy fashion style! This Fur was beyond fab!

This… She is absolute perfection!

Initially when we chatted about the more creative piece for this shoot I had envisioned Kristen in a long blue dress with a flower crown. I was hoping to shoot her on a neutral background so that the colors would pop forward… BUT then I found this tree still bursting with color and HAD to shoot here. The contrast of warm and cool is perfection – as is our momma to be.

I scouted this location ages ago and was waiting for the perfect shoot to use it. Couldn’t be any more magical!

This image really pulls from my fantasy and illustration background. I loved that Kristen wanted to do something with more of a creative edge and here you have it!

Thank you for having YTK Photography capture your maternity session…and for the wonderful collaboration of creative minds.
