Rebecca & Wuyang have become quite the experts at celebrating their love. They met a little over 8 years ago while Rebecca was teaching English in China. About 4 years ago they first were married in San Fransico where they currently live. Rebecca’s Mother was the only witness. In years passing they decided that they really wanted to make a public decoration of their devotion to each other in the presence of their loved ones. So, a few weeks ago, they celebrated their marriage with Wuyan’s family in China and this Indian Ladder Farms wedding was the American celebration. They chose their venue because Rebecca has so many fond memories from her childhood at Indian Ladder Farms and it was the perfect place to set their laid back rustic and romantic affair! Rebecca and Wuyang had friends from all over the world fly in for this happy event and it was so wonderful to celebrate with them and Rebecca’s family. A few months ago I was visiting San Fran doing a shoot for one of our couples and I got to meet up with Rebecca. We chatted all about the wedding plans and themes. She really wanted to incorporate something Chinese but wasn’t exactly sure how to connect the rustic farm. All of the sudden it totally popped into my head! “OHHH, you should use Blue China!!” She loved the idea and it was absolutely perfect as it pulled in that element but kept to the rustic farm feel. I absolutely love all of the details that she pulled together. It was simply sophisticated and everything worked together so perfectly — just like she works so perfectly with Wuyang.
