It was an exceptionally beautiful day for a wedding in the Hudson Valley. We are so excited to introduce you to Rosalie and John. In addition to having a such a sweet tooth for one another they are also total foodies. In fact they have their own amazing food blog called Chopsticks Optional. As soon as you are done viewing their beautiful Hudson Wedding Photos, you have to check them out!
Being the food connoisseurs that they are, you can imagine how important this piece was for their special day. The savory dishes and incredible spread was catered by charming crew of Sweet Sue’s. They had a decadent dessert table provided by a company of their favorite vendors topped with a custom cake topper created by Rosalie’s Bridesmaid and BFF Lana.
In addition to the great grub it was very important for Rosalie and John to tie in their strong family connections. They did this through their venue at Cherry Ridge Farms, which has been in John’s family since 1923. The property is just spectacular as it overlooks the Rip Van Winkle Bridge which didn’t even exist when he purchased the property. She then told me that John’s Great-Grandfather was the first man to drive across the bridge. How amazing! Another fun piece of history for Cherry Ridge Farm is that it has been a wedding spot for John’s brothers.
I just love how special it is for Rosalie and John to continue that family tradition.
