Franklin Plaza Wedding with Matthew and Áine

I am so excited to share Áine + Matthews beautiful Franklin Plaza Wedding! I can not tell you how much I adore this couple and how much fun it was to capture them. This wedding has been 5+ years in the making – from dating to their engagement and everything was just perfect! These two like a good time and wanted their guests to enjoy a fantastic evening of food and dancing trickled in with some more traditional aspects. For example: Matthew said “I don’t want to do a first look” – he was so passionate about having that tradition and I love that this was so important to him. When you see his reaction you will understand why. We all lost it during the ceremony when the officiant quoted this bit from Matthew…In essence he said “The world was hard and complicated and then I met Áine”. That sums this couple up – they are each other’s best friends, and together the world doesn’t seem as difficult or scary. Becoming a married couple was so emotional for them, their friends and family (and us t00) – there was not one dry eye in the venue during the ceremony and so many tearful moments in between. We just loved being able to capture this magical day and of course it is always a pleasure hanging out with our neighbors at Franklin Plaza!

The First of many tears that day…

Loved Áine‘s veil!

Matthew has such a great smile!

Matthew did not want to do a first look because this moment meant so much to him….

to see his bride walking down the aisle!

Not a dry eye in the venue

That perfect Kiss!

Obsessed with this bridal party look!

Could her smile be any more contagious?

Loved the projected monogram – it looked great for this Franklin Plaza Wedding!

They made a great entrance to their reception

Followed up by a beautiful first dance!

Matthew sang to Áine the during the dance

It was so sweet.

Daddy’s little girl

I can’t tell you how much I love these images of Matthew and his Mom. So many precious moments.

and the tears are back…

Due to some amazing toasts!

As a surprise, Áine’s Mother arranged for some traditional Irish Dancers

This meant a lot to Áine because she used to dance (and according to her bridesmaids – was really really good)

Time for the cake!

This was one of the funniest “attempts” at getting her in the face with cake…

But Áine got away! Go girl!

Áine and Matthew, it was such a pleasure to capture these memories for you and your family. We loved being apart of your day and wish you both a lifetime of laughter and happiness.
