You may remember Amanda and Chris from their awesome engagement session last year! These two love birds have quite the story. Independently, Amanda and Chris went on a trip to Miami at the same time, while on vacation the met and through talking figured out that they both were from the Capital Region! It wasn’t long until they became smitten with each other and then fell in love. It is so clear how much these two just adore one another. Family is SO important to this couple and they were constantly surrounded by so much love and excitement! We feathered that in with the details and portraits of their most important people! It was such a perfect day for our Desmond Wedding Photography! Amanda absolutely loves vintage everything so all we captured all of her wedding details on her family’s antique heirlooms. The bracelets on the clock are gifts that her parents gave her from when she was little and she wore the proudly on her wedding day.
Amanda also has a great since for alternative fashion – we just LOVE her retro wedding heels.
Chris looked so dapper in his awesome Tux! We just love the color!
And this shot of Amanda and Julia (her sister and Maid of Honor) was so touching with all of the family portraits in the background.
Just love these bride and groom portraits!
And aren’t those rings bling? I love that Amanda had a mix of purple stones and diamonds in her band!
We love her soft purple and pale blue bouquet!
Chris’ mother is so proud pinning on his boutonniere.
The flower girls were just so sweet and we LOVE this shot and their polka dot dresses!
Such a handsome group!
And the lovely ladies!
The ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church was so lovely.
We love Chris’ huge smile! It was so wonderful and they both were so happy!
The new Mr. and Mrs!
Chris and Amanda had a vintage Rolls to take them to the Desmond for their reception!
Don’t they make a beautiful pair?
We found this little spot off the path where the light was just awesome!
And we just LOVE this silhouette!
But nothing beat the light later that evening! Sunset portraits are just out of this world and we just gasped when we saw this image!
We just LOVE these warm and romantic images!
The Queen Ann’s Lace was so spectacular and the only word we have is perfection!
The room at the Desmond looked great and we just love these custom matches and cigar labels!
This is the first time we have seen a watercolor effect for the cake decoration and just Loved it!
Amanda wanted succulent and terrarium inspired center pieces. We love that she included small lanterns – they looked awesome
Let’ the party begin!
For their first dance, Julia, (sister and Maid of Honor) and Nick (friend and Best man) preformed the couple’s song “Lucky”
For the anniversary dance, Amanda’s grandparents took home the prize of being the longest married couple at the wedding – 61 years and counting!
Nick and Julia gave some amazing speeches.
Filled with laughter and tears.
Amanda and her father’s dance was so sweet! We just love parent dances!
But nothing beats that smile on Mary Ann’s face when she was dancing with her son!
We just love these “I Do” and “Me too” forks for the cake!
This selfie intro was so fun as was Amanda’s Grandmother was tearing up the dance floor!
Chris showed off his moves and got the party hopping!
We had the best time with you and your family!
