Albany City Hall Wedding with Laurie and Joseph

There is something so romantic about weddings – especially unique and intimate ones like this Albany City Hall Wedding. It’s a special day when you have the opportunity to capture two people coming together. It’s even more exciting when it is a story like Laurie and Joseph. These two have been together for sometime and this marriage celebration developed out of their big plans for a trip to Italy. Laurie said to Joe during the planning process; something so grand should be a honeymoon and he agreed. Later Joe proposed to Laurie to make the trip “official”! How amazing!!!
We had the perfect spring day, with all of the trees in bloom. Laurie and Joe had a very intimate ceremony officiated by Mayor Kathy Sheehan right in her office! Then we jotted off to the park for some beautiful portraits and bubbly with Laurie’s parents. It was such an incrediable afternoon and we are just in love with these Albany City Hall images. Renaissance Floral did a stunning job on Laurie’s Bouquet! I just love the pinks and fresh greens!Albany was just bursting with blossoms and it made for some absolutely stunning bridal portraits.They are just the best! We love these Albany Wedding Photos. Laurie and Joe wrote their own vows and it was such an emotional moment listening to them. It was so exciting to watch Albany Mayor, Kathy Sheehan, perform the ceremony. AND they are official! Now off to Washington Park for some Portraits!We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful background – the blossoms were just stunning! We just love this family photo with Laurie’s parents! Can you believe that they have been married 55 years?!? This is right out of a magazine! Since their trip to Italy sparked this celebration, we thought it only fitting to take a few photos with their Italian travel books.
